What my musings are all about...

Blogging might well be the 21st century's form of journaling. As a writing teacher, I have always advised my students to keep a daily journal as a way of organizing their thoughts for future writing projects, a discipline I have unfortunately never consistently practiced myself. By blogging, I might finally be able to follow my own good advice.

The difference between journaling and blogging is that the blogger opens his or her writing to the public, something journal- writers are usually reluctant to do. I am not so reticent.

The trick for me will be to avoid cluttering the internet with more blather, something none of us need more of. If I stick to subjects I know: sports and literature, I believe I can avoid that pitfall. I can't promise that I'll not stray from time to time to comment on ancillary subjects, but I will make every attempt to be interesting and perhaps even insightful.

YOUNG MALE VOTERS, CHECK IT OUT

Your grandpas were probably too young to fight in World War II, but your great grandpas weren't and probably did, given that 1. 9 million American soldiers and sailors fought in Europe against Adolph Hitler's Nazi Germany. Nazis were Fascists; Donald Trump is a Fascist based on everything he says and does or says he'll do in the future if he becomes president again; therefore: Donald Trump is a Nazi. Approximately 250,000 American service men with an average age of 26, gave their lives fighting against the Nazis. That's a lot of young males. Are you going to spit on their graves by supporting a Nazi for president of our great Democratic country? Will you dishonor the memory of 250,000 young American males whose bodies lie buried in graves across Europe and the USA, whom Trump recently called losers because they were killed in battle?

Donald Trump thinks you will do just that and vote for him. He believes you are too stupid to research who the Nazis were and who the Nazis are today. Check out the Swastika tattoos on the bodies of White Supremacists and skinheads. If you vote for Donald Trump, you are voting to legitimize people like them, who hate Jews and all people of color, who want our country to be all WHITE and their version of Christian - definitely not the Christianity of Jesus Christ who told us to love one another, who was himself a man of color.

Don't fall for Trump the Trickster, the Huckster, the Faker, the Hater. Do your research. Use the brains Donald Trump does NOT believe you have.
